We are looking for passionate individuals to join our friendly, award-winning small business! We’re recruiting for brand new roles in our creative team, as well as new roles in our production team as we start to prepare for Christmas. 

We're looking for; a Customer Services Assistant, Production AssistantsJunior Designer and Marketing Assistant. Read on for more about the roles.

 

A Bit About Us

Love Give Ink launched less than four years ago by Martha Keith who, inspired by gifts that she and her other half (Mr LGI) had given each other, decided to create and make inventive paper-based goods. Our aim is to surprise and delight our customers with creative stationery items and unique personalisation options, and have lots of fun in the process!

We sell here on our website lovegiveink.com and via the marketplace notonthehighstreet.com. Love Give Ink has been featured in local and national media including The Sunday Times, The Telegraph, The i Newspaper, The Independent, Stylist and Perfect Wedding, Wedding Ideas and Psychologies Magazine. We have also won several awards for our brand and products, including the notonthehighstreet.com 'Start-Up Success of the Year Award’ and Hounslow Entrepreneur of the Year, Hounslow Best New Business, and Hounslow Business of the Year 2016.

 

Customer Services Assistant

Would you like to help us go the extra mile to delight our customers? We are looking for a full-time Customer Services Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities will include:
• Striving to delight our customers in all interactions
• Handling customer enquiries across all our selling platforms
• Responding to customer emails and phone calls
• Working with the Production Manager and team to ensure all customer requests are implemented
• Liaising with the Creative team to fulfil any bespoke requests
• Processing orders from customers
• Assisting with stock control
• Occasionally assisting with the preparation, dispatch and delivery processes as part of our close-knit team

You will need to:
• Be an excellent verbal and written communicator
• Have a strong attention to detail
• Have good problem solving skills with the ability to work things out logically
• Be reliable, organised and conscientious
• Be a competent computer user
• Be self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Be able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks
• Have a willingness to ‘muck in’ when it’s busy
• Bring energy, passion and good sense of fun!

• Previous customer service experience preferred

The Detail

• Join us as soon as possible
• Normal hours proposed to be 8:00 – 16:15 Monday-Friday with additional weekend or evening hours possible during peak business season
• Salary dependent on hours agreed, includes paid holiday, pension, team events and a staff discount on Love Give Ink products

Production Assistants

Fancy being part of the awesome fast-paced team who make our personalised stationery and gift orders? We are looking for full-time or part-time Production Assistants to join our team.

Responsibilities will include:
• Making the personalised stationery and gifts, including adding personalisation, printing, assembling and packaging
• Processing orders from customers
• Managing the dispatch and delivery processes
• Preparing for big occasions
• Assisting stock control

You will need to:
• Be an excellent communicator
• Enjoy making things
• Care about the detail and have high standards
• Be organised, committed and good at time management
• Be a competent computer user
• Have a willingness to ‘muck in’ when it’s busy and stay calm under pressure
• Bring energy, passion and a good sense of fun!

The Detail

• Join us as soon as possible until Friday 16th March 2018 (with the opportunity to stay on after this)
• Normal hours proposed to be 8:30 – 16:15 Monday-Friday (but flexible) with additional weekend or evening hours possible during peak business season
• Salary dependent on hours agreed, includes paid holiday, pension, team events and a staff discount on Love Give Ink products

Junior Designer

Do you have a passion for stationery, product design and typography and love designing across both print and digital platforms? We are looking for a full-time or part-time Junior Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities will include:
• Designing new products for our stationery and personalised gift ranges
• Designing visuals for marketing materials
• Designing digital banners and website imagery
• Designing product packaging
• Creating our customer newsletters with the marketing team
• Collaborating with the marketing team to produce digital assets for our blog and social media channels

You will need to:
• Have an ability to work creatively whilst following brand guidelines
• Be product focused and able to identify key trends
• Have a qualification in design or a related qualification
• Have working experience of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Understand production requirements 
• Work well with others and communicate well 
• Have a strong attention to detail
• Be self-motivated and able to self-manage
• Have a resilient nature and willingness to develop
• Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Have a passion for our business and a positive attitude
• Have a willingness to ‘muck in’ when it’s busy

Marketing Assistant

Do you love creating content for websites, newsletters, press and events, and would love to help us spread the word about our business? We are looking for a full-time or part-time Marketing Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities will include:
• Managing content for marketing materials
• Writing and editing product information on our website and online platforms
• Creating our customer newsletters with the design team
• Working on monthly PR / press releases for new products
• Market research, competitor analysis and influencer mapping
• Organising influencer and blogger communication and events
• Writing content for our blog and developing ideas for social media

You will need to:
• Have an understanding of the marketing mix
• Be an excellent verbal and written communicator
• Be a competent computer user. Proficiency in Microsoft office and Photoshop preferred.
• Have a strong attention to detail
• Be self-motivated and able to self-manage
• Have a resilient nature and willingness to develop
• Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Have a passion for our business and a positive attitude
• Have a willingness to ‘muck in’ when it’s busy
